The Walt Disney Company has announced that ESPN, in which Disney owns an 80 percent controlling stake, will begin broadcasting NBA programming in Africa as of February 14. Viewers of paid television networks hosting ESPN will be able to watch the rest of the regular season games, including the NBA playoffs, conference finals, and finals. The June NBA draft will also be included in this new scheduled programming.
